Community Futures British Columbia
Facilitating small business and community economic development across BC
Launched in 1986, Community Futures is a community driven economic renewal initiative and now has a broad network of 34 community Futures locations across British Columbia. BC Community Futures are locally autonomous, non-profit organizations made up of community volunteers who, together with their professional staff, are actively engaged in helping their communities develop businesses (through loans, technical support, training, and information) and implement community-based economic development strategies.
As a grass roots organization, Community Futures British Columbia works on behalf of its members to access the resources they require to be effective in their local community economic development initiatives.
Small Business BC
Offering business information and services to BC entrepreneurs
Since 1993, Small Business BC has been helping BC entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. They are linked to a network of 75 Regional Economic Vitality (REV) partners throughout BC and together are dedicated to deliver community-relevant business information and services to small business owners.
