Since 1990, Cascade Fishing Adventures has specialized in the exhilarating experience of sturgeon and salmon fishing in British Columbia. The mighty Fraser River contains not only the legendary Sturgeon, but also all 5 salmon species, Steelhead, and Trout. We offer a professional and relaxing experience for our guests amidst beautiful surrounding scenery and abundant wildlife.
Cascade Fishing Adventures believes in delivering at every opportunity. Our guides are punctual and prepared, have spotless boats and have well maintained equipment. We utilize ethical fishing methods in addition to safe handling techniques and practices to protect fish and anglers. We are conscientious and will show a professional attitude towards you and other anglers. Our teamwork and camaraderie will activate every angler in the boat for the fullest experience. During your fishing adventure we will happily share knowledge about the local geography, fish and wildlife.

Chawathil First Nation (CFN) is currently in the process of revitalizing our Forestry Program and has reached administrative milestones to successfully negotiate and sign the Forest Consultation and Revenue Sharing Agreement (FCRSA in Dec 2015) and Forest Tenure Opportunity Agreement (FTOA in Sept 2014). CFN has also received a 10 year Non-Replaceable Forest License (NRFL A90591) with timber rights to 138,900 cubic meters resulting in timber harvesting activities within the CFN Asserted Traditional Territory and the Fraser Timber Supply Area (TSA).
Chowethel Axwest Managing Partner Ltd., is the general partner to a newly formed business Chowethel Qaqelstexw LLP. Chowethel Qaqelstexw LLP is an Indigenous forestry business wholly owned by the CFN community and is currently managing the volume-based non-replaceable forest license within the CFN Traditional Lands. Cheam Fishing Village and Campground
The campground at the Cheam Fishing Village and Campground offers 45 campsites by the majestic Fraser River. Riverfront campsites, fire pits, picnic tables, boat launch, day parking, riverside trails and cultural experiences. You are welcome to the Cheam First Nation territory on Pilalt tribal grounds to share in the beauty and abundance of the Fraser River. The Cheam fisherman have 10,000 years of experience on the Fraser River - known to Cheam people as the Stó:lō river.

Sweltzer Creek Campground
Sweltzer Creek Campground is only minutes away from Cultus Lake, yet miles away from the crowds. Come and enjoy our spacious campsites in a family atmosphere. The campsite is nestled between its namesake, the Sweltzer Creek and the Chilliwack River. This beautiful and natural hideaway that is sheltered by large, old Cedar Trees. The Sweltzer Creek flows through the campground, providing creekside camping sites.
